Features of Abena Hydrocolloid Dressing

Waterproof Polyurethane Film:
- Protective layer conforms to the body
- Provides thermal insulation, and helps lower the risk of infection
- Prevents bacteria from going inside

Adhesive Layer:
- Features polymers which enhance the dressing’s ability to contain wound exudate by forming a cohesive gel
- level of adhesion to the wound is reduced when saturated with exudate, allowing easy removal

Easy-Removal Tabs:
- Combined with a strong mesh scrim
- Tabs help achieve an efficient dressing change and help minimize user’s discomfort upon removal

Contraindications
- Discontinue use if allergic symptoms appear
- Do not use on infected wounds
- Do not use on wounds with sinus tracts
- Do not use on deep wounds or third-degree burns
